The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), establishes the scientific and technical guidelines used for federally regulated workplace drug testing. Testing must be performed at facilities certified by HHS under the NLCP. This presentation provides an overview of federally regulated drug testing and the inspection and performance testing phases of the NLCP.
