Panelists discussed the investigation behind the story and how law enforcement coordination and a victim-centered, trauma-informed approach led to the apprehension of a serial criminal. The panel also discussed media reporting and utilizing journalism to capture an effective and accurate account of events.

The symposium focused on how the nation is moving forward and finding solutions to the complex issues that arise in sexual assault cases and in testing sexual assault evidence.
