Dr. Ed Sisco
Dr. Ed Sisco has been a research chemist in the Surface and Trace Chemical Analysis Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology since 2014. His background is in the development of mass spectrometry systems and methods for forensic applications. Current research efforts focus on the development of novel ambient ionization mass spectrometry sources for forensic and homeland security applications, understanding and expanding the role of ambient ionization mass spectrometry in the forensics community with applied projects focusing of trace narcotics, explosives, fire debris, and the chemistry of latent fingerprint residues.
