Dr. David Christiansen is a licensed psychologist in Colorado and has been in private practice for more than 30 years, much of that time devoted to working with first responders by conducting pre-employment evaluations, fit-for-duty evaluations, and providing therapy to many first responders from various disciplines. He has also provided numerous trainings around the country with the intent to inoculate first responders from the effects of PTSD and to provide amelioration for those already affected with the negative consequences. Dr. Christiansen maintains an active private practice as well as serving many agencies as a consultant. He previously taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Northern Colorado in both the undergrad and graduate programs in psychology. Dr. Christiansen is also an active adventurer with climbs of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Rainier, Grand Teton and nearly 30 of Colorado’s 14,000’ peaks.
